Serioulsy though guys, if jermain taylor can prove kelly can be outboxed (even though he lost a very close decision but remmeber taylor is NOT a boxer), what made anyone think hopkins could not have done it? Dont give me the age bull**** because he looked good against calzaghe and tarver so you have to throw that out of the window. This is one reason that proves that maybe, JUST MAYBE, staying grounded at home is not the best thing to do with your career. Kelly here is a message to you and any other fighter - Find a real trainer that can teach you some real skills and dump lowe and youngstown. And btw i didnt see the fight becasue i thought kelly would beat down hopkins and i didnt want to waste my money on that and figured i would catch the replay next week. I am killing myself over and over for not going to AC to see this.

well,i think pavlik has nothing to be ashamed about.he shouldnt be all down on himself.this would be detrimental to his psyche.he hung in there for 12 rounds with an atg who is a freak of nature in still being prime time at 43.hopkins is just one hard and crazy a$$ mofo and thats that.he's a freakin scary dude as well and i think pavlik was actually intimidated.again,nothing to be ashamed about.at least he hung in there and took it all like a man and didnt quit or get ktfo.

so with that,i commend pavlik's courage and toughness.
and i obviously put hopkins in atg staus.heck,i always did anyway.
i actually wasnt even surprised at how this bout turned out.
i was basically 50-50 but when i heaqrd hopkins was winning the early rounds,i figured he'd win because he had the style.plus,hopkins is only 1-1/2 inches shorter than pavlik and i believe his reach is actually an inch more than pavlik's as well,so,really,no big surprise even though hopkins is 43.

hopkins is not like any other 43 year old thats ever fought before.he's truly a freak of nature and this is obviously said in the most resectfull way imaginable.basically,pavlik needs to stick to 160 and just do his thing there.abraham will be a good showdown but first,i think pavlik needs to re-group with good tune-up bouts.i can think of two immedietely that would serve as good tune-ups for pavlik and would also make relatively good business for both combatants.
pavlik vs duddy and then pavlik vs andy lee.

then,pavlik can go into the abraham bout feeling re-grouped and with all his confidence and 100% ready to get it on in a big money showdown with king arthur.
