i couldnt say who would win between the two of them, kessler wasnt outclassed against calzaghe it was a very close fight as was the hopkins fight, and kessler fought a more prime calzaghe, so to say that at this stage hopkins would outclass kessler based on last nights showing is stupid,

kessler has a better chin than pavlik, is faster and snappier with his punches and imo there isnt really much difference between the punchinc power of these two fighters.

kessler beats pavlik imo, i wouldnt be surprised if he knocked him out either. i always said that hopkins had the style to beat pavlik and always would, just as calzaghe would likely always get the win against hopkins at this stage, but i still feel that with styles calzaghe would have more problems against pavlik. what happens to pavliks career now if abraham kos him in the fight that is bound to happen ????

Kessler would provide more movement than Pavlik, and he's more natural at that weight therefore carrying his speed and power better than Pavlik did. Also Kessler isn't a double jab right hand kinda guy, he has other combos too. Therefore he'd do a hell of a lot better against Hopkins than Pavlik did

What the **** are you talking about afraid?

Taylor is fighting Lacy, who let me remind you Calzaghe demolished.

Kelly just got whipped badly by Hopkins losing 11 or 12 rounds.

Hopkins would be favored over Kessler imo, but not by that much as for the other two vs Kessler....:rofl

He out boxed Librado Andrade but I still think Kessler's power is very overrated

well calzaghe is at hopkins level dont care what anyone says, adn to say pavlik and kessler havent fought at that level how can they fight people of that level when there isnt many of them around, and when it comes to it they try to get the fight with them.

if calzaghe fought hopkins again the fight would be more clearer, the only way hopkins could fight calzaghe again is in front of a full welsh crowd, calzaghe would know exactly what to expect from hopkins with his counterpunching ability, how can you prepare for 12 rounds of non stop punching.

as much as people say this fight was boring and all that, i really would like to see a calzaghe hopkins rematch if calzaghe beats RJJ - because now if he beats bernard then at least no one can say he hasnt beaten a credible opponent who should be ranked top 5 p4p after last nights shut out.

Most posts in this thread are indeed unbelievably stupid.

last week - Taylor was ****, Pavlik god and Hopkins just plain old.

This newfound godstatus of hopkins does that mean that Taylor easily outboxes Kessler as well?

Stop that fighter A, B and C scenario **** it doesnt make sense!

In my op Kessler has the tools, Calzaghe was his first elite fight, perhaps injured away from home, it will be interesting to se how he manages mentally next time around, no one knows yet. The guy has exellent timing/ sense of distance a defence
and if you want to compare yesterdays fight kessler has a defence!

Wow, i'm shocked that you are admitting that one of your man loves would lose to Hopkins. I guess you can be objective.

Of course. I saw things in that fight that changed my mind, even though Pavlik is inferior to Kessler.
