Exactly. Hopkins has shot up both as a p4p boxer and an ATG, which HAS to make Calzaghe's win look more impressive. Put another way, it's hard to name many boxers that could beat Pavlik; thus it's even harder to name boxers who could realistically beat Hopkins. Calzaghe did it; RJJ has a small chance; that's about it.

How did it feel as you sat down to watch Hopkins v Pavlik, pants around your ankles, box of tissues at your side, preparing for a satisfying masturbation session watching Pavlik knock around an old man for a few rounds before smashing him to the canvas? How did the dawning realisation that everything you believe is wrong feel?

This post makes no sense. He's not in his peak, so he must be in his prime?

no I mean noone wants to hear that he is past his prime when. if, he loses because he looks in his prime to me and 10 years ago he would not fight an american over here so none of this he was faster then ****? faster against who?...I just dont want a setup for failure...so when he loses people can say he wouldhave beat him in his prime when e didnt fight anyone in his prime

I think that you are thinking of William Joppy. We are talking about Joe Calzaghe.

How is calzaghe faded? this is the point i was making earlier...if he is faded than it just gives credibility to the argument that he avoided ALL big fights his whole life until he fought lacy, through his whole prime he fought noone..why is that?

The best out there is a man who got dominated by a fighter Calzaghe beat several months ago:think Interesting theory.
