if calzaghe goes on to beat jones, and calzaghe agreed to fight hopkins in cardiff in what both claimed would be there final ever fight in summer 2009 :

who do you think would win?

what do you think each figher would do differently to last time?

do you think hopkins would actually come to fight and not just to spoil in the re-match?

I'll have to go with Calzaghe winning again, Calzaghe's style is just too difficult to handle. Too fast, too active, too slick and too smart. Calzaghe would give HELL to anyone he fights.

LOL, why would teh outcome change? Joe would be fully aclimatised to his weight and venues if a rematch occured, if anything, it would be another beating for Hopkins, neither would get anything from the fight, Joe beats him up again, people will just say he beat a shot 44 yr old this time.

But you do realise calzaghe was a hell of a lot more effective than pavlik was - i mean hopkins was hanging on at the end, and i believe calzaghe would win again due to his superior workrate, yet it would be a close fight again.

Calzaghe again. I didn't have the first fight THAT close. But then again I only scored 1 extra point for the knock down and didn't deduct any points from Calzaghe for failing to cut his opponent.

He will be overwhelmed by the high volume slapping and his cheeks are gonna wear out.

I believe the Hopkins we saw last night could've beaten Calzaghe.. I'd rather not see a rematch between the two tho..

If Hopkins is a little more active he should get the decision this time. Hell, he should have got the decision last time.

Nothing would change, it would be the exact same fight with the exact same outcome, close points win for Calzaghe.

I believe the Hopkins we saw last night wouldn't be able to bully Calzaghe like he did Pavlik. That fight changes nothing, Hopkins simply wouldn't be able to do the things he did to Pavlik to Calzaghe. The result most likely wouldn't change.

B-Hops wins easily. Calzaghe's slapping won't work this time. Bernard has been reincarnated.

What? And calzaghe isn't going to adapt his tactics based on their last meeting?

Theres no mystery here, Calzaghe is a better fighter than Pavlik so Hopkins was able to beat pavlik but not Calzaghe.

hopkins nearly did get stopped by calzaghe acually if he didnt fake tha5t low blow he was there for the taking he had no choice other than to fake a low blow coward **** if he came to fight in the first place he would of got owned simple
