Question For The Classic Posters......

There was a time when it ate up my interests, but other things generally rule my thoughts these days. I'm still passionate about the sport though.

When boxing's good there's no sport better. But when it's not, for me there's not enough to hold my attention. You've only got two guys, if one of them is real off that night, you have a one-sided fight or a quick KO. But you never know, at least for certain, when you're watching round one of a classic, so that keeps us watching...

Not so bad, the team is doing well! Early days in the season, but i must say im an optimist!

I went through a patch where i wasnt posting much at all, but ESB sucked me right back in and i feel right back at home now! You cant kkep away, you know how it is!

 

I spend many hours of my waking life watching, thinking, reading, talking and writing about boxing. It's not my only passion in life, but it does play a large part in my life.

I like to keep word documents on my computer of things like p4p lists, lists of greatest boxing displays, lists of fights I have, lists of fights of other guys that i trade with, lists of fights I want, lists of fights I have to watch etc.

Of course and then I have my list of scorecards, which is currently running onto its' 16th page. I have near on 200 scorecards there of fights that I thought were close enough to warrant a scorecard. I wouldn't for instance add the Hopkins-Pavlik scorecard to the list, nor the Jones-Hopkins fight.

I have a few mags from the 80's and 90's but not as many as I'd like and I'd definitely like to delve into the boxing mags of yesteryear in the future. Would also like to get into the newspapers and read about some old timers when I have the time.

I have a pretty large fight collection which I refer to when the mood strikes me as well.

Not really into the memorabilia of the sport though.

 

True boxing fan SS! Do you like the phrase 'term'? I do use it at times, when the situation calls.

 

How many fights you reckon you have? I'm probably around 1500-2000.

 

You 2 sure have a LOT of fights, RB aswell
