Did anyone score a round for Pavlik in the fight?

Actually I had it the same as Weisfeld ( 118-108 ).

 

12-0 Hopkins.

I think there was a pity round for Pavlik, like the 9th or 10th, something like that could be tossed his way.

 

I did not give Pavlik a single round. Hopkins did what all-time greats do, and that's completely outclass him.

So what did Hopkins do to pick up an extra point after he had one taken off ?

 

I respect Bhop and give him credit for his great performance but I still hate him.

Nope, not a single round. One 9-9 round, but that was due to the point reduction of course.

 

Maybe one or 2 at most for Kelly, but I couldn't say for sure, as I watched a stream, and had a few by that time. I'll watch it again, it may well have been 12-0, 11-1 due to point deduction.

 

My first prediction was Joe UD but I am thinking even a shot Roy Jones can beat him. Come on Roy! We have to believe. lol

I gave Pavlik rounds 9 and 10, simply because Hopkins workrate reduced and Pavlik increased his.......seemed that Hopkins was gathering himself a wind for the finish.

......and finish strong the old man did!

Dont remember the round, but I believe it was the 7th or 8th.....the ref stopped action in the round, and it seemed like he was taking a point away from Pavlik for rabbit punching, and though the HBO commentators said the ref took a point away, I cant trust those tards one iota......the ref never made it clear if he was taking a point away, or he was just giving Pavlik a final warning.


With the point deduction for Hopkins in round 9, I scored the fight 117-110......
.....if indeed the ref took a point from Pavlik as well, then its 117-109 Hopkins.
