nobody is talking about this great fight that had me on my toes for 47 minutes :happy

i dont think rubio won, but oh well...i figured they would give it to the guy that would give pavlik a better fight at 160....rubio finished strong, but to me, this was another classic case of people forgetting that the earlier rounds count too....

i feel enrique got shafted against soliman too and his other decision losses.....the guy can't seem to catch a break from the judges, but i would love to see him get another shot.....

rubio earned his, but i think pavlik will knock his ass out at 160

Yeah Kirk and me were really enjoying the fight Rubio needs to really work on that D tho, to many uppercuts were coming through. Great fight tho.

Yep, entertaining fight it was. I wouldn't say Ornelas was robbed, Rubio finished strong. If Ornelas had better stamina he would knock him out though!

And btw, Pavlik would win by murder vs Rubio :gun

    have you seen him before...
i've been following him for years now...and he's pretty underated..yeah, a bit chinny, but he's never been ktfo....the cruz fight he was really hurt, but he was winning the fight with ease...even put cruz down about 3 times...other than that, he's one fighter that i feel has been shafted in all his decisions.....

I thought it was a little bit boring. Luevano vs Dib was a better fight to me but it seems my tastes are all ****ed up.

I thought Ornelas won by 2 rounds....the commentary team were sucking on Rubios nuts all fight....yes Rubio won the last 2 rounds but he lost early rounds and 9 and 10.

I really expect Rubio to dominate this fight, Ornelas tends to have let downs. Even his brother talks about how Enrique just isn't that aggressive/hungry enough mentally. You could definitely see a size difference though. I'm used to seeing Rubio bully his opponents, not the case here, but he definitely showed some class for this fight.

Too bad for Rubio that Pavlik's coming back. I was looking forward to seeing Rubio-Lopez fight for a vacant WBC title. This Ornelas fight will make Marco much better prepared for the Pavlik fight though, as Kelly will also outsize him.

I didn't watch it very intently at the pub but i certainly was surprised by the decision.
