Do you guys really think Anthony couldn't have taken Kelly Down last night?

Hes not exactly wasting his prime. Everything is gearing up for a late run. (Even though others continue to bring in hes ageing. Im adament hes not ageing and he will likely fight to 37/38).A big late run. News is coming in, Sturm will be next. Lets see how this one plays out.

I like Kelly but people just went crazy with the hyping.

I was always ye of little faith when it came to Pavlik. I picked Miranda to beat him because i didnt know about his chin..he proved me wrong. I picked Taylor to beat him because I didnt think he could make that next step up...he proved me wrong but showed flaws. I still thought the Taylor rematch was a 50-50 fight which it pretty much ended up being because Kelly just got past him.

Thats the whole point we like Kelly because he has flaws that makes him fun to watch. At some point he was going to run into a fighter who could do that to him, I didnt think Hopkins could because of his age and recent form but he certainly turned back the clock.

Ive always maintained that if Mundine could keep his strength, speed and reflexes at middle he would be a serious test for Pavlik. This fight doesnt really change my opinion or increase Mundine's chances..Nard is a totally different fighter who is better in almost every way. The way he dominated Kelly on the inside and in the clinch Choc could not do.
I still say Kelly would beat out a decision over Choc after some tough moments...he would just be a little to strong and fearsome for Choc to really open up, I think it would put Choc into a Siaca-fight like shell whilst Kelly just went to work.

Not many people look good when they fight Hopkins. I would give Mundine a chance but its more likely that Pavlik wins it imo.

Yes and Mundine aint the only one that could have beaten him.

I have stated this on a million occasions.

Mundine would of stood in front of Pavlik and froze in fear.
Pavlik fought Hopkins for money, pure and simple. He couldn't lose,a loss on his record means nothing but a more $$$ in the Bank means a lot.

Now he can fight whoever he wants at 160 and if Mundine gets offered,Mundine will refuse.

Anyone seen Mundine fight at 160 yet?

Mundine hasnt fought at 160 and he will struggle bigtime to get down there.

A Sturm fight is looking more likely as the days go by, would not be surprised to see Team Boxa trying to fight him at a catch weight

So he should fight at 154 right?

Why would he be walking around below fight weight weeks out from a fight? That really almost never happens.

Really if it was that easy..he would have done it by now.

Mundine is no where near close to Hopkins.

In fact. He shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence.

    I'm sorry! :D

Obviously he doesn't want to have to strain his body to make it in the last 2-3 days before weigh in.

But potentially he is going to peak early if he has put in all the effort to make weight this far out from a fight.

Its very unorthodox for someone to do that.

Hope it isnt bad for him gav.

    Thats just ridiculous mate.
Mundine isn't the type of fighter who likes to get hit, nor is he the kind that will take a punch in order to land one. I don't believe for one second that Mundine let these guys hit him.

I suppose you believe he let Kim knock him down so that he could work on his 'getting up off the canvas' technique?
