What a pathetic little infant you are! Having a go at me because everyone on this forum with a brain wiped their ass today on your idiotic Hopkins thread.

You got laughed out of town and want to blame someone. Well you can't pin it all on me as there were plenty more pointing out what a hate-filled little dick you are, so **** off out of my thread and take your bitterness out on someone else.

Thick as pig-****. Bye now! :hi:

You know, I criticise Hopkins' achievements a lot, but I realise how good of a fighter he is. Stick him in most middleweight greats place, and he'd end up with a similar record to them. Definetly one of the greatest fighters on my lifetime. It's a shame there wasn't any other fantastic middleweights during his dominant reign, for him to really prove himself against.

I don't know about certainly, especially a faded Napoles like monzon fought. He just didn't fit well above 147lbs, but he did display some of his skills against Monzon before round 4 came along. As mediocre as they were, Trinidad looked great when he easily stopped Cherifi and Joppy, who has been stopped twice, once in his last fight when he was shot to Lucian Bute at SMW in 10 rounds, the other when he was at his best and crushed by Tito in 5.

Given the skill disparity Napoles must be given a near 50/50 chance, but the size difference with Napoles past his best and the fight taking place at 160 where Napoles was never proven makes me favor the Trinidad of the Hopkins fight over the Napoles of the Monzon fight, but only slightly and due to the circumstances (Past best, at a weight he was never proven, naturally smaller).

At welter Napoles wins quite easily.

How'd I know that even though Hopkins was in the title of the post, it'd secretly be about Calzaghe more than anything anyways? Hopkins was winning the first 3 rounds of that fight, and then the fight started turning. Why do people pretend like to pretend that Hopkins' success in the first fourth of the fight happened all 12 rounds?

All I did was write what the article actually said. It was the writer's opinion that Hopkins won.

As you can see, the Calzaghe part is only one small paragraph, and much of the discussion has focused on Trinidad/Napoles.

    (My underline.)

This has been mentioned a couple of times already in this thread, but the stuff you quoted, and which I've underlined here, was part of the article itself, and not actually the words of PACFAN.

Thank you for attempting to enlighten Jack, I appreciate it, but we are fighting a losing battle my friend, there is only so much reasoning you can do with the product of incest.

I know what you mean, more than a few times I've seen things in the last few days I find truly disgusting and pathetic.

I never saw a replay of the fight, but remember watching it live and coming away thinking that JC basically looked like **** and didn't land anything meaningful all night... and while it may have been few and far between, Hopkins did land the better shots.

He also deserved some credit from the judges for controling the tempo and style of the fight... It was a "Hopkins fight" = ring generalship.

I felt like Joe may have done enough to win the decision, but still got schooled and ultimately lost the battle. Put it this way... Joe didn't win over too many North American fight fans that night
