Did you feel Collazo beat Hatton?

    One thing....

Can losses count on a resume - after all, it is who they fought, not just who they beat..... to a degree anyway

I suppose it depends. I could see losses adding something in certain scenarios...

It's part of a series of legendary fights OR you got your ass whooped and came back to win a rematch

It was against a great fighter and the loser puts up a valiant effort/loses disputably

I don't think getting your ass plain whooped alone is going to do much other than to say "well done for taking the challenge on", no matter who you are against. After all there are journeyman that have fought a whos who and lost em all.

I don't know why you are swearing at me :smoke

You can have your Castillo and pretend he's prime. I still take Eubank's. That's how much better it is :thumbsup

I didn't - I wrote " Castillos win is a crack er" - but the system blocks it out with ******* if you don't put a space in it. I've no idea why.

No it's not. He never travelled, he never dominated a division, he never unified or even tried to. He played the WBO game when the belt was very lowely regaurded and not long starting out. He arguable lost one of his fights to Benn as well.

Benn was also eratic in his performances as well - turn in some superb performances then lose when he shouldn't.

Watson, how good was Watson really. He have a win against Benn, going 11 against McCallum and getting KO-ed, and the loses to Eubank.

A good fighter but tragically his career was cut short (as we all know) pretty early before he completed it, and mapped out a finished resume.

Watson has many fans on here and I'm sure one of them will now come and rip into me.:D

not gonna rip into you but watson was better than good. he gave mcallum a tough fight and in the end was still goading him on even as he collapsed in exhaustion. mcallum was very complimentary, saying watson was one of the best he'd fought.
i thought watson was fantastic myself.

Hatton hasn't dominated anything worth a **** either. He won his belts in his one good win and proceeded to cherrypick easy opponents in a **** division whilst avoiding his biggest threat. Then he moved up a division, scraped a decision against a guy Shane Mosley whooped, and got knocked out by Mayweather.

It comes down to who you beat not how many plastic straps you got. Eubank beat and drew with Benn in two of the most memorable British fights of all-time, beat Watson twice who is a damn sight more proven than Urango and ****ing Maussa, and Rochiginanni who holds some creditable wins. He also displayed the ability to put on a few lbs and not look like ****. Hatton has Tszyu, old ass Castillo and Maussa :)rofl )

ya not talking about his 2 losses at cruiserweight are ya. :yep

    ultimately he lost those fights.

    despite looking decent.

eubank had a lot more controversial decisions than hatton has ever had.

hatton has largely dominated every opponent he's ever faced.

only really collazo, tsyzu and magee have taken a sizeable number of rds off him.

eubank has admitted himself he could have taken harder fights, and its correct to say he had a number of controversial wins where he seemed to want to just do enough to win. you cant underestimate how messed up his head was after hurting watson badly, it screwed him up.
i dont get tffp and his hatred of hatton, he's a top fighter, pretty unique in his style i reckon and very exciting to watch. each to their own i suppose.

No, he fought at 168 too :patsch

And still...competetive at cruiser. Richard can not even put on 7lbs.

Hatton has dominated **** competition aside from Tszyu. That's the problem. If he fought 140lb versions of Benn or Watson like Eubank did he'd have 4 losses by KO.
