I liked it when America joined WW2, after we secured our own safety by defeating and nullifying the German airforce single handedly in the battle of Britain... then thinking they'd have an easy time, we had to bail them out in the Atlantic as teh U boats were wiping them out,... 60 years later, they have the nerve to make a film called u-571 claim they were behind the enigma code... and claim they saved us! typical yanks.

 

Thats my five as well. Took me a long time to decide between Lynch and Buchanan at 5 though. H2H Ken took it.

They base their history on Hollywood, after all thats how they won the Vietnam war.

On the whole they are so dumb they don't even realise how dumb they are. Hollywood tells them they are a fair , freedom loving peaceful nation, yet they have bombed 20 odd countries since world war 2.

They supported IRA terrorism for decades and yet think they are our allies.

Another American bit of rewriting history, and a personal favourite of mine. There were more French troops and Warships in their war of independence than there were American troops. They owe their independence to France. Not something they mention a lot nowadays.

 

Oh don't forget Spain who were a major power then, ( even Holland helped) and the fact the American troops were actually Brit settlers, and George Washington himself was a British Citizen.

We also couldn't sustain such a war after fighting over Canada prior to this and defeating the French, so in the end, we had no option, as we would have left the empire exposed.

 

I like the fact the queen gives honorary knighthoods to all presidents too, they have to get down on their knees bow their heads and swear allegiance.

I imagine a lot of these guys are used to being on their knees though .....
