It looks to me that America insults all fighters these days, their own fighters first then the rest. Hypejobs are handpicked and when the fighter slowly carries the hype successfully he gets insulted later as well.

Dude.....it's not just AMERICAN's fool. Do you know Amir Khan?:rofl Look...every country and fans are guilty of over hyping their own. Kelly's last couple of yrs were HELLA impressive. Not that he beat anybody GREAT, but he dominated VERY good or Strong oppostition...not to mention in the US any WHITE fighter who shows skills and dominates gets a nice GOLD PASS on most issues.

Joe isn't runny anymore...he use to avoid challenges but looking no further than the local talent pool around his home town...His skills would have taken him ANYWHERE in the world to challenge the ver best yet he never wanted to do so until recently. With all that said Joe is a true great...unfortunatley his greatness doesn't reflect on his resume...in order to know Joe was great you'd have to witness his ability and talent while fighting b/c his resume has little depth to it.

Don't go saying "AMerica is staved of fighters and resort to that" like it's some kind of seculed American problem. Get a grip man....take this at face value....PAV was beaten by BHop...an ATG, who faught JOE C who is a great figther himself who won a contreversial decision against Hopkins who is far older and more away from his prime than that of Joe who seems to be getting better.

Pav wasn't exposed moreso than enlightened....He's gonna need to tweak a few things in his skill sets to combat the style hopkins has....although you can never expect to be able to deal with a Bernard Hopkins....just ask Joe.

calzaghe, ottke, dariuz m, kessler, froch, ect ect will never travel outside of their hometowns because of the money they get for taking 0 risk fights....unless you wait until your 14th years as a pro like Joe is doing now.....
a football team can go 16-0 but if the team isnt in the NFL ....then it doesnt mean much

 

I for one is not not one of them as I picked Calzaghe to beat Hopkins and will be picking him again against Jones Jr. As far as Dawson is concerned Dawson is a different kind of boxer from Lacy and Pavlik I'm not saying he could beat Calzaghe but he is a different animal from those two.
