Australian bantamweight PAUL FERRERI was never counted out in 96 professional fights!

Australian & Commonwealth champion Ferreri went 8 years (for 50 wins, 3 losses and 5 draws) before being stopped on cuts by Mexican KO king Carlos Zarate.

Zarates at the time was undefeated in 42 bouts, an amazing 41 by KO, and nobody had ever lasted more than 10 rounds with him before most lasted many fewer and were counted out on their backs!

It would be another 10 years, in his very last fight, before Ferreri would be stopped again, this time by Ray Minus from the Bahamas. The stoppage is listed as a TKO in round 10 of 12.

Ferreris full record was 78 wins (26 by KO), 13 losses (2 by stoppage) and 5 draws.

So in 96 fights Ferreri was never counted out!

Everett Bigfoot Martin, was another. Originally a light heavyweight, he went on to battle the monster power hitters of the heavyweight division. Not even the come back Foreman knocked him out, only Riddick Bowe managed to do the job.

Joe Grimm, The Indian Rubber Ball, fought the likes of Fitzsimmons, Johnson, and numerous others. While he lost many, many fights, and hit the canvas numerous times, at his best only one man was able to knock him out and that was Sam McVey. Not Langford, not Blackburn. Nobody was ever able to knock him out but McVey.

Randall "Tex" Cobb. His lone kayo loss was to a club fighter named Dee Collier, and I believe everyone knows the fight was a tank job for Cobb to support his then cocaine addiction. Not Holmes, not Shavers, not Dokes, not Spinks, was able to knock him out. He was arguably the toughest heavyweight contender ever.

Reggie Strickland. Despite his amazing win/loss record, he was one of the better defensive fighters in the United States, going the distance with 0-0-0 guys as well as the 20-0-0 guys. He was rarely ever stopped, and he fought from welterweight to heavyweight. Mind you, he had well over 150 losses, but nine out of ten of those losses were by decision or by stoppage due to cuts, not knock outs.

I've seen the Bowe match and Bowe only stopped Martin on cuts. Had him against the ropes most of the fight and was just pounding the **** out of him.

Also, he went the distance with Wlad when he was still a bloodthirsty offensive minded machine.
