He beat Mayorga like he was supposed to beat him. Look at the trouble Mayorga gave mosley. This is getting off topic, but it supports a point I've always stood behind. Mosley may have gotten the victory twice over Oscar, but H2H Oscar is the harder fighter to beat and the more complete of the two by far.

pretty similar i think...style wise ODH has trouble with moselys speed but tactically ODH is tough to beat...mosely is more of a slugger despite his skill he stands and fights...I thought he did great vs cotto

In terms of psychological beatings, I'd say Margo-Cotto was pretty bad. Even though it was Cotto's fight the first half, that made it somehow worse. Margarito coming on strong late, harder as the rounds went by, and the inevitable destruction and the look on Cotto's face.....going down on one knee.

Shocking. Worse than Lacy-Calzaghe, Lacy got battered the whole fight, was bad, REALLY bad.

But for Cotto to his Margo with some peaches....and Toni just kept coming.

Calzaghe's dominance was beautiful to watch.

Margarito's stoppage of Cotto was painful to watch.

It was a great display of skills, unlike Gatti Ward. I think I'm going to watch it in a few minutes, watching the late rounds of Hopkins Trinidad right now.

Thats what I posted the next day. Instead of giving the guy respect for even getting in the ring and taking a one-sided beating for 8 rounds, these dudes just jump right to the "coward" and "quitter" bull**** :patsch These guys have families, lives and loved ones and CAREERS they have to think about, and it does them no good to get brain damage. And honestly the type of beating Peter was taking is the exact type that can lead to an in-ring death or serious permanent damage. thudding clean shots, over and over, not enough to put him to sleep but that consistently rattle the skull. :deal
