:patschWas this the first time you had seen Graham Earl fight? Are you one of these boxing fans that believe boxing never existed before Amir Khan?

If you knew anything about Graham Earl you would know that he was at the end of his career when he faced Katsidis. He got ruined in that fight.

All you saw was Khan knocking over a shell of a fighter.

Exactly, Castle's win over Earl was very similar to Khan's win. Both losses were because of Katsidis who basically finished Earl's career as a competitive fighter and Earl's punch resistance was gone after that fight.

Romanov was the beginning of the end, whilst Katsidis made sure of it, well and truly.

I would say Graham Earl is the p4p most shot fighter today, including Ali.

such a shame to see a fighter of Earl's quality carry on too long and suffer 2 first round defeats. Time to quit now.

Very sad really, and remember he was well pissed his trainer threw in the towel in that Katsidis fight (even if it was ignored), he should maybe thank him now as the guy was right
