Duddy is ranked 4th in world the guys ahead of are all busy or coming off a loss, Oscar is fighting Pac man, Mosley is fighting Margarito, Mayorga has just lost. Forrest is going too be stripped of his title for not fighting Sergio Martinez:deal So we just might see John Duddy fight Sergio Martinez :thumbsup Duddy KO's Martinez in 7:good

From all I have read Forrest has said he only wants big money fights with name fighters and wants no part of Martinze:nono So were gonna see the Derry man knock out Sergio just like Margarito did after all Duddy is a bigger banger then Margarito:bbb And I am not taking drugs I am high on life:rasta

Yes true Duddy fights with Hill and Hearns coming up but I feel Duddy after those bouts, will have his pick titles at 154 were he is ranked highest is with the WBC:cool:

Duddy has no chance with Martinez.

He might as well fight Pavlik instead.

    More $ in that beating.

MARTINEZ is a real darkhorse..........and certainly several levels above a john duddy.

this will be a painfull welcome to world level for the Dud!

martinez pounds him into a bloody mess in eight utterly onesided rounds.

No way in hell John Duddy's people send him into hell with a far superior and lesser known fighter like Martinez. No Way In Hell.

Duddy / Hearns is not a done deal and I don't know if that will come off either.

Duddy reached his zenith vs Yory Boy, and he deserved a draw at best in that fight. Since then he has had another close call vs Smichet and the Eastman fight was too close as well.

I like John Duddy he fights with a lot of heart and guts and that makes him exciting to watch. They would be risky fools to put him in there with Martinez.

Duddy / Pavlik was the goal, but now Pavlik will probably fight Rubio then Abraham. If Pavlik wins those two Duddy will probably jump that money train right there. I think they will continue to match Duddy vs low risk guys and cash out vs Pavlik.

Martinez? No. Hearns? No. This guy just went life and death with Smitchet. When he gets his one and only shot he needs to have a nice build up and a fat pay check. After that I see him as continuing his career against a series of high risk opponents, some of which will be televised, and trying for a major upset against a young hot shot.

And I actually think Duddy is made of the stuff that makes him capable of that. But no way they put him in there vs Martinez. I would be shocked.

I too want to see Duddy fight Pavlik what war that would be and it would rock the garden:bbb But Duddy people seem to want him go down to 154 and there are some win able big money fights for Duddy there.
    # 1 Julio Cesar Chavez JR= Duddy wins by KO
    # 2 Sergio Mora= Duddy wins on points
    # 3 Ricardo Mayorga= Duddy wins by KO
    # 4 Jamie Kirkland= Duddy wins by KO
    # 5 Yuri Foreman= Duddy wins by KO
    # 6 Vernon Forrest= Duddy wins on points
    # 7 Joel Julio = Duddy wins by KO
    # 8 Verno Phillips= Duddy wins on points
    # 9 Shane Mosley = fight is pick em
    # 10 Oscar De La Hoya= De La Hoya wins by TKO
    :deal

You seem to have a lot of faith in a fighter who hasnt even fought at the weight yet.

Duddy has very average power aswell..even if he wins some of those matchups he certainly does not win that many by stoppage.

P.S. Truth is don't understand Hearns fight for Duddy myself:huh It just seems that Duddy does not need to fight Hearns to get a title shot but HBO seems to want Duddy to prove himself before put him in with a champ:think
