HOW WOULD THE FOREMAN OF THE 90s DO AGAINST TODAYS HW?

He would destroy every last one of them imho.

 

He would beat almost all of them, the only fighters that would have a chance of beating him are slick boxers, and probably Vitali. He scare Wlad so bad, he would have one of his famous panic attacks before the bell even rings, and as soon as Foreman lands the first solid punch of the fight, Wlad's glass chin would gain more exposure than Paris Hiltons sex tape.

Yeah right, Valuev couldnt even lay out an out of shape Sergei Liakhovich earlier this year, it's doubtful he would ever even come close to putting Big George on his back. I think it would be safe to say, Foreman has a better chance of flooring Valuev, than does Valuev flooring Foreman.

 

The Foreman of the early 70's was just a beast and would be competitive with any heavy throughout the ages. He would certainly demolish a prime Tyson in far more brutal fashion than did fat, diabetic Buster Douglas. However the 90's Foreman would have little chance against the much bigger, faster, technically sound and equally big punchers in the Klitschko brothers. He struggled with the jumped up lightheavyweight Micheal Moorer before finally landing the lucky punch. Both Klits cream him in his comeback 90's tour. The 70's Foreman defeats Wlad and would be in a hellacious battle with Vitali. That fight could go either way. Both men have huge punches, granite chins and are mean suckers with a killer instinct. "Hide the children."

I agree....Valuev really doesn't hit that hard for a guy his size. Big Goerge would chop him down and knock him out.

 

He would smoke all of them quicker than a bucket of KFC, he'd beat Wlad, on power alone, Vitali would be a competitive match, even money, the rest FORGET ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!

 

:good You never know these days, I heard some posters say some pretty dumb lately. I actually like Valuev, he seems willing to fight the best out there, which seems limmited at best. I hope he gets the chance to fight Wlad or something, I think that would be an interesting fight indeed.

Cold-Hard-Truth, I think George probably would knock Valuev out. The guys as about useless on the inside as Wlad, and his clinching technique is terrible, he doesnt even lean his 330 pound frame on his oppenents like he should. Other than his seemingly granite chin and high workrate for his size, he doesnt possess much in the way of boxing skills.

 

I'm not so sure about Foreman cleaning up the division other than Wlad.

Let's not forget that Foreman almost lost to Alex Stewart (after Stewart's manager publically expressed doubt about Stewart's confidence and resolve), and lost a wide UD to Tommy Morrison.

 

90's foreman was outboxed by everyone of the above average fighters (even schulz). he would lose against wlad, vitali, chagaev, ibragimov, povetkin and maybe even ruiz.

 

Typical emotional tripe. The 90's Foreman was a shadow of his former prime 70's self. He was much slower and had less of a killer instinct than he did as a much younger man. His one great fight in his second incarnation was the Gerry Cooney fight. He was an absolute beast in that fight but went on to struggle against pedestrian fighters like Alex Steward and actually lost to that drug-addled and sex-addicted clown Tommy Morrison. The 90's Foreman would have been reduced to the role of a hapless baffoon against the disciplined boxer puncher and current champion Wlad Klitschko. Don't be swayed in your judgment of the current heavyweight boss. The Wlad haters have been predicting his downfall for years, yes YEARS now, and that guy just keeps whipping everybody's butt. The 90's Foreman would just be more cannon fodder for big Wlad.

 

We have though dont you think been not half waiting for this to happen for a long time, i cant see it occuring the way hes going

 

He would lose against Wlad and Vitali. Maybe also Valuev, Chagaev and Povetkin.
