An y Bute supporter must do one thing now. Bute's image is sinking. There is only one remedy if he wants to avid being stigmaticed by this for the rest of his carreer. Ask the IBF to reverse the decision. As much as it may hurt it is the just thing to do - and it is the only thing that will save Bute's name. Bute will get a rematch and may win. Just giving Andrade a rematch will not help a lot. A little, but people will still have animosity against Bute. Give andrade his belt, get a rematch and win it back. Keep the belt and give a rematch will not do the trick. Act fast because Bute's name is taking a pounding right now and these sentiments will come back every time Bute's name is mentioned in the future. Think about Ottke. His gift decisions are exaggerated but all started because of the Reid fight. Ottke is despised by any boxing fans and Bute is going to be the most despised person in boxing if they dont act fast.
They never reverse decisions in boxing. All they can do is order an immediate rematch. Oh yeah... **** THE REF!!!!

It definitely would have been. All boxingfans' sense of justice was violated here and that will of course reflect very badly on Bute. Had he gotten KOed in round 12 (as he did), people would have said that he won most of the rounds and a rematch was in order. Then we would have had a rematch and they would have been doing a great couple of fights where Bute might have come out with the belt. However, by trying to keep the belt illegitimately Bute's image (and Canada's) is ****ed. It is just a bad idea. Like any parent tells their kids "no matter how dificult it is to tell the truth some time, it hurts more in the long run to be dishonest". He has Librado's belt, but it will hurt him far more over his carreer than if he had lost it tonight in a great fight. Now he kept it in the scandal of the decade.
Well he wasn't just gonna stand there and get counted out,we don't do that,we get up,and fight. But damn, this is gonna go down in historyatsch
[yt]JGM6WAfosj0[/yt] Andrade was robbed; Bute lost the fight. IMMEDIATE REMATCH WITH FAIR REFEREEING, IN AMERICA!!!
I was wrong. I read the rules and listened to my betters and I am now convinced Bute won fair and square, because he beat the count and the fight should have ended there and then. The arguments in these threads, particularly, convinced me: This content is protected This content is protected Comments and arguments from Andreikov, kotjinx, Armele Romane, Drew101, Barber-ian, swedeone, fluxstuff, McGrain and sean, amongst others, helped me see the truth. Thank you, all, friends. Bute never really had much of a nickname. I propose this one could be good: Lucian "The Count Beater" Bute :thumbsup
Bute won the fight because he beat the count...but Andrade lost the fight because the ref did not stop the fight went Bute was out on his feet... very good fight but very bad refereeing. Bute will fight again on american tv so is Andrade. The question is...will they fight in the same ring...
:rofl The ref ****ed Andrade over and the 12th round was only one part of the overall screwjob that went on for most of the rounds. Andrade didn't even fight 80% as well as he could have and he still basically knocked Bute out. I would take a ban bet with Decebal on here that Andrade would win a rematch if it happens any time in 2009, but I'm sure he would never take it. It would be a smart thing not to though, because there's no way Bute wins this fight again whether it's in Montreal, Romania, or California. And if there is a way, well, I won't miss this forum too much anyways.
