You rank them above Ortiz though? How? In terms or resume and consistency he clearly has them beat, and while not as flashy head to head, he was just as good in his prime.
Gomez was the overall best in terms of ability at his peak IMO, with Ortiz 2nd. Ortiz however has a vastly superior resume and did not have the problems of inconsistancy that Gomez had. Ortiz is #1. Gomez, Trinidad, Benitez then follow, with DeJesus at #5.
I voted for Trinidad ,,,that's who i grow with, thats my generation, and for that im a little biased. I had watch Benitez and Gomez old tapes and gotta say they were great also, sadly i havent seen Ortiz fight, dont know who he is ,,,,shame on me gotta do some research.
