i was at the fight and it was close but still clear that Calzaghe won, all the Hopkins fans near where i was sitting left in the 11th and 12th rounds because they thought Calzaghe won it easy.

I watched with 6 other guys. 2 of us bet on Hopkins. All of us thought Calzaghe won.

Really, that's funny.. Dan Rafael, Kevin Iole, the Associated Press, and Brian Harty, among others, all scored it for Hopkins. Maybe they had better seats than you, eh?

Jones was correct and I agree I think Hopkins won the two Taylor fights and Calzaghe plus with the knock down in the Calzaghe fight plus the two deliberate low blows by Joe who admitted he did it on purpose and didn't get points deducted and Bernard lost a split decision. The most punches ever connected against Hopkins and he lost a spit decision. More punches thrown than Jones,Tito,Oscar,Taylor,Pavilk,Tarver,Wright,Johnson c'mon. And we are talking about Jones in his prime the White boy comment was his downfall. Joe was awesome against Lacy and Kessler, and Manfredo and garbage against Hopkins. I always said Bernard should have never fought Calzaghe because was gonna get cheated and it happened.

I knew watching it that it was a very subjective fight that could be scored a few different ways. I have no problem with the official result, a more decisive win to Calzaghe, or a slight win to Hopkins.

Calzaghe won that fight. But it was close.
And close fights are generally not satisfying victories imo. Sure at the end of the day we have a winner. But so much **** talkers that it ruins and tarnishes the victory itself. The only way to repear this is to have a rematch. (even though there's no need for one).

Puleeeeze Roy...don't embarrass yourself. Hopkins lost fair n square. It was close. He was winning, but faded down the stretch. Don't make this about race...

When Obama takes office I don't wanna' hear anymore of this type of ****...enough now...hell, even if Obama loses...that **** is over enough that I'm sick to death of hearin' it...

Wish I could agree with you. Just because the power brokers out there have done everything in their power to get Obama elected doesn't mean there aren't 150 or 200 million racists in this country still.

Calzaghe won this fight fair and square. I was cheering for Hopkins yet scored the fight for Calzaghe, it wasn't really difficult to score as the fight went.
