    IMO, No.

    Seems like there have been a lot of great fights, and a lot of interest in boxing after that fight. Before... boxing was sort of in a downspin. I think that the show 24/7 brought a HUGE amount of fans over to the sport. I had never in my life heard so many people talking about an upcoming boxing match before that.

    it really did awake a huge amount of the world to boxing, in a sense you could argue that the fight night games have saved boxing but this fight really left a huge impression because a high percentage of the regular posters on any forum register at or around the time of that fight

    i expected more from this kind of magnitude of a fight. the least they could have done is made some fireworks to attract non-hardcore fans who tuned to watch that day. imagine if those non-harcores are tuning to cotto-margarito instead.
