I watched the last minute of the 12th round of the fight and saw bute go down. I counted to about 6 when he got to his feet, and disagree that he was out. Yes, had there been more time he would've got KTFO, but the fight was over and he made it to his feet before the 10 count. The actions of the ref were definitely corrupt, but they were unneccessary as bute beat MY count of 10. Anyone who says otherwise is just a pro-american or mexican fighter. The actions by the ref are the only controversy. I mean who didn't see bute clearly standing up against the ropes when wright was yelling for andrade to get back into the corner. All this BS about andrade should be champ and the writers screaming andrade was robbed. Get the **** out of here. Bute DOMINATED that fight, and finished on his feet. You jokers almost had me on the bandwagon. I'm glad I saw now for myself. I think ESB posters thrive on controversy and should go watch WWE. Morons! P.S. Not everyone at ESB, just most of you
All Kessler fans think that Bute lost the fight to Andrade...They don't want to see him in front of Mikkel !!!
The ref's actions were enough to see something fishy is going on. F!#$ the IBF rules. That ref was a hometown ref protecting a hometown fighter. End of story. And u can take that to the bank!
You only have to ask the fighter to come to you when the fight is still on, but and i'll say this loud and clear for the mentally challenged. THE DAMNED FIGHT WAS OVER MORON!! Was he going to get ko'd by having his corner help him back to the stool? Idiot!atsch
Its not just the ending of this fight that was "fishy", but the way the ref handled the action in the last half of the fight was deplorable. Look how many times so broke the action when Andrade landed a good shot...Andrade was unable to fight his fight to its fullest because of that ****.
Exactly he wobbled over to his corner after the fight was over but if he had been told to stop holding earlier in the fight he would have been ko'd sooner. If he does fight Andrade again gotta give him props for taking the rematch.:good
There is a good chance the Ref would have waved his hands in the air , signaling that the fight was over once Bute would have had to take a step toward the ref ; answering if he was okay to continue... UNDER NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES Bute doesnt look very coherent after he got up. I am no Ref but I feel like I would have stopped the fight the way Bute looked. The ref never had to make that call because he was too busy peeking over his shoulder at Andrade.
Andrade should either be the IBF champ or GUARANTEED to be Bute's #1 contender and next immediate dance partner. :nod
The fight shouldve been stopped before the knockdown. Bute looked out on his feet long before he went down and the ropes held him up more than once. That ref could have gotten him permanently damaged.
if the ropes held him up then the ref should have given him an 8 count. That might actually have helped him
Hope there will be a rematch. Bute won't do the same mistake twice. He just try to make the show for the crowd in the final bout, and pay for this. The first 11 rounds were a true boxing lesson...period!
