If you can't hurt a guy, he won't respect anything you throw and CAN walk through most. Combine Floyd's SAFETY FIRST STYLE, his bad hands, and his lower punch output with Margarito's size, aggression, and stamina, and it spells bad news for Floyd.

Floyd can't pot shot his way to a victory vs Margo, but he hasn't needed to not pot shot his way to victory against recent opponents. What makes you think he cant change?

margarito's punches are to wide and hes to slow and plodding
cintron & quintana are not on the same level
clottey isnt mentally strong enough
paul williams has the physical tools but i dont know if his skill set is strong enough to beat floyd
cotto is mentally strong enough & skilled enough to cause floyd the most problems imo... but floyd could still do it ... why?

The welterweight division is one crazy divsion that does live up to the term "styles make fights", Cotto is my current favorite fighter but he would lose to Williams but I think Cotto would have a better chance at beating Floyd than Williams IMO, it's just one of those crazy scenarios.

and i agree i always thought cotto would give floyd his biggest challenge in the current ww division...

i personally think Margarito wouldnt survive man ( not calling a ko.. but floyd wins clearly)... hes way to slow & wide punching for floyd... floyd would pick him apart
and floyd would close up the space on margarito and also switch up rhthyms so much on margarito i feel like
marg would just have a hard time with floyd...

edit again : oscar's hand speed is greater than margarito and floyd didnt struggle with that at any point in his fight with oscar... combine that with punches that loop more than any fighter floyd has faught in his past 6 fights and i just see an easy victory for floyd.. by 4+ rounds
