He would not have the opportunity to test Roy's chin. Would be too busy being on the receiving end of a brutal beat down.
From two people who've spent years training and learning how to box purely and to throw as damaging punches as possible, plus Antonio Tarver is considered a big puncher in the Light Heavyweight division. Considering Silva lost in a boxing match by second round TKO to a slow, plodding journeyman, I doubt he'd beat even a shot Roy Jones. His boxing skills would be no where near good enough, he wouldn't hit as hard, he'd have slower hands. I can't see Jones being even slightly troubled.
It comes down to money. The styles or likelyhood of victory or defeat is secondary to the amount of money that can be made by the participants.
Silva-Le? :think **** a circus act with Jones, bring that **** on. Let Roy man up and finish business with Bernard (win lose or draw with Joe).
Jones beat Hopkins once without controversy. Why do it again? A Jones-Silva event would attract viewers of both MMA and boxing and the fighters would make a lot of money.
Put it this way: Both Silva-Le and Jones-Hopkins II are far closer to pick'em fights than Jones-Silva under boxing rules. :deal
Anderson has no chance. No chance of beating RJJ. People who think Silva does just have no idea how good elite boxers are.
