Yea he's not as talented as his brother but he's meaner, the only fight where i ever saw him hurt or beat up was with Lewis, who was the top dog at the time, to bad VK wasn't so injury prone, and healthier he would have had a helluva run, those 4 long years he took off hurt..:huh
If you're going to suceed as a top-level boxer, you need to be. No matter how nice and polite the guy may be normally, in that ring the best have to have that ability to hit and hurt someone, and then hit them some more. Beat them up 'til they can't continue.
Call it killer instinct and a measure of intimidation. Vitali wants to (and does) present a cold, strong and slightly mean face. Wlad is the "nicer" of the two, and far less threatening. I'd rather fight Wlad than Vitali any day! Vitali seems to lack compassion (which is great when your living is made punching people until you knock them senseless!). ;-)
This is a bunch of mularkey. Vitlai hurt Peter and rocked him far easier than Wlad did. Sure, they were arm punches atsch
Does anyone know what Vitali's immediate plans are???? I thought the WBC told him he must defend his title within 90 days of the Peter fight or he will be stripped of it.
1) WHAT??? 2) His power is overrated so he has trouble putting opponents away, even when they have a weak defence and/or bad head movement like Sanders, Williams and Peter.
he simply doesnt hit hard enough to get people out of there early.. he needs a lot of rounds to inflict some damage to his foes. Dont try to make it look like he doesn't want to KO them, that he just want to "toy" with em.. he tried really hard with sanders, peter, danny, lewis but he just doesnt have the ko power
