You're Opinion Of Mayorga?

I agree with your whole opening thread. Also, I think people are not giving him enough credit in his last fight by using Mosley being past prime as an excuse. Truth is Mayorga can do a lot of damage and is very good at what he does.

 

He's been real entertaining over the years and a real success story as well... multiple titleholder, including an undisputed championship, and made lots of money in the process. He'll never be remembered as anything great but I would say that's a prety good career for a guy with limited skills wouldn't you?

 

Flash in the pan one hit wonder.

 

Awesome that he had very little skill and made it to the top.

 

What he did not have in technical skill he made up by being completely unorthodox, throwing bombs from angles other technical fighters could not predict. Even in his last fight Mosley said that he just could not figure Mayorga out. Mayorga was fierce with that kamakazi style.

 

Mayorga is one of the most entertaining fighters of the past 5 years.

 

For what he has accomplished he talks to much ****:-( a 1 hit wonder, who i loved to see get KTFO...

I did want to see him beat Vargas only because i hate Vargas even more..

 

Well he also KOed Andrew "Six Heads" Lewis who ws a world class titleholder at the time.

His biggest error was moving out of the welterweight division where he was so strong and powerful. I mean a prime 147 pound Mayorga could have given any current top welter a run for their money.

 

Six Heads sucked and everybody at the time already knew that.
