Ok moron, let's clear this up...

THERE WERE NO LINEAR CHAMPIONS AT MIDDLE, SUPER MIDDLE, LIGHT HEAVY, OR HEAVY (ok Lewis was, and was just about to retire) WHEN ROY FOUGHT IN THOSE DIVISONS.

The Middleweight Division wasn't unified until Hopkins did it (someone that Jones beat when Hopkins wasn't 43).

He beat James Toney who at the time was #2 P4P behind Pernell Whitaker. He beat Toney in Toney's supposed PRIME (although Toney has had many primes apparently haha).

Jones unified the Light Heavyweight Division (fought everyone but Dariusz Miclasuckski) haha, I know the spelling is off, but he was a bum who wanted things HIS way while RJJ was the draw.

SOOOOOOOOOOOO, where were the linear champs???

Are you seriously comparing resumes??? Compare who RJJ fought between the beginning of his career and his decline real decline (2003ish)...

Compare Calzaghe's resume over that same period. It's not even close.

Calzaghe didn't clean out a divison...He defended his useless WBO belt for 9 years..

HE MADE NO EFFORT TO GAIN ANYMORE BELTS, ACCLAIM, OR TITLES IN OTHER DIVISIONS until he won the IBF belt from Lacy.

Calzaghe spent 9 years, handpicking bums, fighting useless mandatories, and doing virtually nothing else.

RJJ won REAL titles in 4 weight divisions in 10 years, beating HOFers, multi-division titlists, top contenders, etc.

Don't compare resumes. It's getting pathetic.

Calzaghe won all 4 belts at Super Middleweight.

Jones also spent years fighting handpicked bums, worthless mandatories and doing nothing else.

Their resume's are very similar in nature. I am not a Calzaghe fan but he did stick around and clean out a divison fighting and beating all of the beltholders. Roy never did this.

    Roy even said himself.

If I lose, so what? But if he loses, then that's something.

Can people shut the **** up now?

Roy cleaned out the Light Heavyweight division...He also won belts in 3 other divisions.

And as I said, Calzaghe didn't win a belt, fight a champion, or do anything other than defend a worthless belt from 1997 to 2006...That cannot be denied.

Roy Jones fought plenty of bums, in fact, a lot more than I would've liked.

However, CALZAGHE SPENT HIS PRIME FIGHTING BUMS, YEAR AFTER YEAR, FIGHT AFTER FIGHT.

I find it funny that these dudes can spend ALL day fishing for threads where they can TRY to discredit one of the best boxers of our lifetime. Its pathetic as all hell. They (or he) says the same ****, OVER and OVER and OVER again.

why wouldnt jones be motivated...he was in NO position to not be motivated after being absolutely destroyed physically and mentally 3 fights in a row while calzaghe was just cruising through the division with ease

who did roy fight since BHOP? they both spent their primes fighting bums and cleaning out mandatories....bottom line JC is more in his prime than RJJ...I sincerely hope RJJ proves me wrong as I cant stand calzaghe fans but I just dont see it..prime for prime it is RJJ all day long
