I'm through getting into heated debates on this issue.

....but I will put it im simplistic terms. If you believe that what comes out of the mouth of Bob "I was lying yesterday, but today I'm telling the truth" Arum, then you can believe what Boom_Booms post is credible and the honest truth.

If you believe like I do that Arum is a lying, scumbag, slimeball......then you should believe that what Boom_Boom is saying here has zero validity, as it went from Arum's mouth, to the press.

I think at that time after the first fight with manny, marquez was still traumatized by come forward fight fstyle of manny although he won as i see it he won 7-8 rounds of the fight..so he was not mentally ready for a rematch then..I also recall marquez cautioning erik to be carefull and not to be over confident a few days before the his 1st fight with manny, saying he was surprissed that manny is as strong as he is considering manny came up from a lower weight class

Another subject done to death to discredit Marquez.

That lying jackass Bob Arum made up the offer to JMM to downplay him and go ahead with a bigger blockbuster with his name fighter Morales and Pacquiao.

The Marquez team turned down the 750K for the rematch with Pacquiao because they thought they were getting shafted while Arum was banking ithe extra cash of the big rematch. Nacho wanted to negotiate and Arum gave them the shaft and went ahead with his name fighter Morales vs Pacquiao.

    There is nothing else, period.:hi:

No arguments here my friend, just laying it out in simple terms without being argumentive!

I chose to believe JMM, Nacho and team over a proven liar and convicted briber.
Every poster in this site can draw their own conclusions!:good

Move on Boom_Boom, no need to rehash the same points in a thread topic that has been done to nauseum!:hi:
