Oscar by far! the way he always looks up at the sky during the pre-fight stare down is some scary ****!
Tyson rarely stared guys down during the pre-fight instruction. He did a little bit after prison (McNeeley), but usually just stared to the side and not at his opponent's eyes during the instructions. Liston and Foreman, they had real good staredowns.
Vitaly and Tyson. Hearns tried, but it is not as easy to be really intimidating when you are less big. I'm 6'3" and I would probably have to try hard to be intimidated by skinny Hearns. Vitaly and Tyson could get the job done I guess.... :-/
Don't be dense. Very likely there are plenty of 5' 6" fellas (boxers and otherwise) that could look into your eyes and make brown run down your legs. Or are you some superduper CIA killer...?

Its just nature. McNeely would not be equally scared of Tyson and Pacquiao. Logical. Therefore it is obviously harder for the smaller guys to seem intimidating unless they are allowed to carry an axe or a gun into the ring.
*Sigh* Maybe it's harder for the small guys to intimidate the big ones, but most guys are fighting someone their own size. So use your imagination and think about if you're the same size or smaller than the guy doing the stare instead of being a clown, ok? Hagler had a cold stare, and so did Hearns. Young Foreman looked like he wanted to kill anyone he got into the ring with. The way Aaron Pryor looked at Alexis Arguello in their first fight, I think anyone in the ring with him would have felt a shiver go down their spine. Evander's stare against Mike was absolutely top notch.
Now we are on the same page. I'm glad that only few actually think Pac is as intimidating as Tyson would be in a dark alley (no weapons). The idea is not to compare someone like me and my degree of intomidation vs Tyson and some 5'4" guy and argue that the small guys can "make brown come down ones pants". That is NOT the argument for the intelligent fan. The argument must be the one you argue. For obvious reasons smaller guys are just not as intimidating. However, using our imagination and imagining that we were equally small, I agree that some smaller fighters probably look intimidating to smaller guys. Of those I pick Hagler. Hearns had a tougher look, but he was a little too lanky to be intimidating. Hagler had more that explosive bomb look that also makes Tyson scary.
