Probably the biggest match-up problem. He'd beat him but he'd beat Cotto and Margarito even worse. For novelty purposes, Pacquaio would be a good #1 v #2 fight. If PBF dropped back down to 140.
Paul Williams. Similar to when Cotto was beat by Margarito, I honestly think Margarito's stock will fall sharply after he is dominated by Williams in a rematch. Paul Williams is the best welterweight. I want him to fight Paul and maybe Clottey.
Margarito. That way the myth would be dispelled that Margarito could do anything close to pressuring Floyd into submission. Floyd wins this one and drops no more than two rounds while landing an unbelievable number of clean shots.
I'd still like to see him fight Cotto or even Berto....Styles make fights and i think Margarito is too slow and would lose a decision to Floyd.
Agree. GReat fight. 'MAyweather would run a la Baldomir against any big welter wich would make it boring.
I think if Floyd fought Margo he would win with ease, by a wide, wide UD. Cotto tried to outbox Margo and did so succefully for 7 rounds, and Cotto is more of a brawler than a boxer, although I must admit Cotto is good at staying on the outside. But Mayweather is a whole other kettle of fish compared to Cotto, boxing wise anyway. If Margo couldn't catch Cotto for 7 rounds then he wouldn't catch PBF for 70 rounds, IMO.
