Sturm will have instructions to pretend he's jabbing while Manny will try to adjust his speed to the new weight and to the obstacle. In my opinion, Felix is an excellent sparring partner since he's taller and has bigger reach than Hoya and will create that virtual opponent in Manny's mind, then he can really snap that jab and even tho he is not going to aim it to Pac's face for real, and finally b'cause Sturm is strong and Pac needs to collide against a strong man and hold on. Still, it's a hard mountain to overcome, Pac will have to fight aggressive and Hoya just needs to break him up out of his experienced orthodox stance, very unfair situation for the challenger.

Good news of course but it's only sparring, I wouldn't take it too serious, all is different in the ring.

Wouldn't surprise me! DLH has clearly slipped a lot, he doesn't have the stamina to keep a championship pace for 12 rounds anymore. If Pacquiao makes it into the late rounds, he is in with a big chance! And if Oscar doesn't utilise his jab like he did earlier on in his career when he had the size advantage, Pacquiao will easily close the distance and could do anything from there.

I'd wait to actually see footage. I don't trust anything out of Roach's mouth.

Its funny how everyone thought Pac vs Hoya was circus, and now with little help of media hype ppl start thinking it may be competative. I see Hatton vs Mayweather repeating, we all knew Mayweather was better even before fight was signed, but all hype made us all doubt what outcome we'll see.

Im not buying this, next thing we'll hear is Pac outboxing and flooring Strum in sparring.

anyways i'm a big Pac fan so i don't like picking against him but i don't think he has much of a shot at wining though i believe he will give a good account of himself.

I wouldn't be completely shocked at an upset

Felix Sturm however is a quality sparring partner.

Wether he spars with Sturm or not it's still an uphill climb for Pac.

Funny how the PAC team talks about his training etc...All the hype is there... While Moroles had a NEWS black out same with DLH at this point.

The same story when he first met Morales. To much Hype but in the end he lost.

Like I said, LOGIC DICTATES PAC will LOSE!

Nevertheless, as a Pac FAN! I really HOPE he wins!
