Peter has youth and chin on his side--where do you come off trying to"sell" his big punch? I agree, Oleg is tailor made for this galook, but claiming that Pete is the hardest puncher in the division? You really are over-hyping Pete. Kinda' like the Brewster hype after his so-called KO of Wlad.
There are three "old" guys that could beat Pete right now, Byrd,McCall and possibly Tua. You are not going to see these fights, however, because Pete's hot goods right now. He's no better than the 60's Chavalo.

This is gonna be an exciting fight but contrary to the rest . . . I'm picking Peters to win.

Peters had improved a lot since the first meeting with Wlad so I would like to see him fight Wlad again at this point.

I can´t wait until the hype job Peter is over. The hardest puncher in the division???? That must be a joke. I would bet 500 bucks that Klitschko for example would have KO´ed Toney. And in two fights he would´ve KTFO´ed him three times. And the most entertainig thing is, that the guy who took the Sunday punch of the "hardest puncher of the division" is china chinned.:rofl

Oleg is a slow starter and that alone is enough to end this early. His only hope in this fight is backing off Peter with power. With Peter's willingness to walk straight into power shots he could conceivably get rocked early. But again peter will come out hard looking for a ko and since Maskaev never wins the early rds it spells trouble.

IMO team Peter's biggest concern will be who ref's this fight. Those shots to the back of his opponents head are dangerous and illegal. Sooner or later it is going to catch up with Peter. A lot of his koes are started or finished with illegal punches. He just can't seen to stop doing it. These fouls are a lot more obvious than Holyfelds intentional headbutting and as damageing. IMO there is a 10% chance of this fight ending in a dq caused by Peter's illegal punches. The more power shots Maskaev lands the more Peter will try to foul so the longer the fight goes on the higher the likelihood Peter become frustrated.

The pressure is all on Team Peter they were the ones doing all the talking and they are the ones who in reality have one win in their 3 big fights. Needing two fights to get one legit win over Toney exposed peter as being pretty raw not very good at landing that big punch. If he looses this one he is headed to palookaville. Rahman will have a brighter future since he has actually beat someone in his career.
