"I would be doing exactly what I'm doing now. If Lennox Lewis was still fighting today I'd be screaming his name in the same way that I'm screaming Wladimir's. I always want to fight the best in the world, I'll always do what I have to do in training - it makes no difference to me who the No. 1 fighter is, I want to fight him. Right now that man happens to be Wladimir, so it's him I'm gunning after. But if I was in the same era as a Lennox, a Tyson or a Bowe, you know I'd be going after those guys as well."

Big fan of haye but the only one out that list he would have stood any chnace with was bowe and that is all to do with the mental side nothing about the skill or athletic abilty of bowe.

Thats not even trash talking... I like what hes saying here, this man is a true warrior and a conqueror, he wants whoever is number 1. Good for him... wish more fighters were like him.

Ill be rooting for him up until he acutally fights wlad

He would have been after those guys. He's always after the best. Hate on him all you like, but the man has always taken on great quality opposition for the stage of his boxing development. Let's forget whether he would beat those guys (and although I think they all win the majority of time, I'd never completely write-off his chances, as I would a rahman, douglas or golota... come on, the Pole as good as won...)

he's untested as a HW - but i'd put him in the michael moorer catagory at best.

who knows, he could turn out to be decent by todays standards.

He's fast, skilled and I think it's fair to say will have an elite level - that's not to say devastating at elite level - punch.
stick with haye, I did after his loss and far more worryingly the Mock debacle.
I believe he will end up the best heavy post-lewis for a while, though I understand why people question him.
I genuinely believe he analyses fights well. which is why i don't think he'll ever fight anyone shorter than 6"1/6"2 ever again.
