DLH is past his best but isn't totally shot, he still has a lot left to give anyone out there a hell of a fight.
There's like, so many things wrong in your statement. First of all, 1+1 does NOT equal 2 in boxing. Barrera beats Morales who beats Pacquiao who beats Barrera. Get it ? If Pacquiao has the edge over Sturm, it means NOTHING seeing how Sturm and De La Hoya are very different fighters. Second: Sparring means absolutely nothing. Ever heard of the infamous Spadafora-Mayweather incident ? Going by your logic, Paul Spadafora would be better than Mayweather, and would handle De La Hoya, since he dominated Floyd and Floyd beat De La Hoya. :nut Last, DLH-Sturm being a robbery is highly debatable. The fight was close with a slight edge to Sturm, but a lot of rounds were close anyway.
Sturm-DLH being a robbery highly debatable? Man, that was one of the biggest robberys i´ve ever seen.Even DLH said after the fight something was wrong etc. bla bla. Sturm clearly won that fight and was robbed, THAT was wrong! I was cheering for Sturm in that fight so i might not be objective but i´m pretty sure most objective viewers of that fight agree with it being a robbery.
i have to agree with you..... i think matches are always seen clearer when proposed about them, then once you start getting the hype, the stories... the workouts, the weigh ins, ect... face to face stuff, you start thinking this guy has a shot! then the bell rings and reality sets in once again...
i think pac will do good in this fight although dela hoya is bigger has the longer reach he runs out of gas quit fast.. i say if pac keeps up the phase on the first 5 rounds it will be a good for pac.. and i know that pac has this tremendous body shot.. ive seen a move from pac where he avoids the jab by bending his heep to the right side and through a right hook to the body.. it will work i know.. the reach advantage is really what he has to nulify if he wants to win.. and the pacman camp is really good cause they hired good sparring partners for him
