    9. Leonard- Duran
    10. Leonard- Hagler

This is how big the first Ali-Frazier fight was. There has been NOTHING since to even compare to the hype and anticipation.

Recently, I was very excited about last nights fight! Vic-Mijares really got me excited, the stylistic clash was going to be intriguing. The matchup dumbfounded me in the end! Still can't believe how one-sided it was now. :(

But Hatton-Mayweather got me worked up more than anything! I'm not afraid to admit it, I have Hatton at least a 30% chance of winning, simply based on the fact that I thought he was gonna' land one of those brutal left body hooks on Mayweather after rounds of rounds of tasting the Sweet Science.

Ended up it was just the latter, but still....I pissed like five times before the fight, missing Blue Moon and the the tale of the tape!!!

Calzaghe-Kessler too, as I travelled to Cardiff to see it! Absolutely fantastic fight, freat seats, and we were sat right next to Bradley Pryce and Gavin Rees for a while....they were slaughtered though, and went off to get more drink!

lol why do people go so far to ignore floyd to not mention his name more often in his thread.

his last 2 fights had the most buildup across the board (hardcore & average sports fan) since when tyson was fighting

and all fights are hype.. you guys dont understand difference between hype, anticipation & delivery

hype basically is how much something is anticipated.....

but neither of those 2 thins have anything to do with delivery... i feel like alot of you are leaving out floyd becuase his fights didnt deliver....but you would not know that before the fight started.. which means prior to the bell ringing the end effect of the fight could have no effect on your level of anticipation
