Yeah, although it's not grading or analysing that is a problem, but poor and unwarranted grading and analysing, nuthugging and believing one's own hype about certain fighters, and trusting one's ability to analyse and pick winner way too much, I think. I agree, though, that any analysing or grading that leads to a kind of orthodoxy being established is very dangerous, and ultimately leads to what we saw tonight - almost everyone getting caught on the wrong foot...because we're too satisfied with what we think we know, instead of looking at things afresh and considering all possibilities without any bias or prejudices. Very hard to do, though...:good
Funny mate I saw it the other way....I rate Mijares much higher that Kirilov and I thought even though Vic did a great job he would get beaten. I guess thats why I am last in the boxing comp atsch
****ing BRILLIANT!:happy :happy That was a different fighter.....He outboxed the consumate boxer... His trainer should be in line for "Trainer of The Year"
Excellent effort from VIC. Great boxer who has put the demons of a loss behind him and done exactly what he said he would. Bloody great.
Hi Bop Bop I haven't seen the fight yet, but have faith that Vic will kick some more serious arse...He is a man on a mission :deal
Sad thing is though Mundine is prob still gonna get more publicity despite Vic deserving it so so much more
