I'll eat my crow gladly. Mijares came in overconfident and got absolutely embarrassed. Great win for Vic. Arce - Darchinyan is a fight I've wanted to see for years, and who knows, maybe now it happens.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQL-IFEk6hw I don't have a computer and my girl is cookin so I gotta run, but thanks for the compliments; however, I made a mistake. I meant to say that Vic would hit him with an overhand left, not a right. As far as Vic's future is concerned though, his experience, knockout loss which helped him become patient, his level of opposition, and his crouching style combined with his formidible if not devestating power makes him a force in the division. Arce, a face foward brawler who puts his weight foward might make things interesting for a round or two, but once Arce finds how difficult it is to hit Darchinyan without being slammed back, he'll find himself in a world of pain. Arce's pride and lack of skill will cost him the fight which he will lose in a bloody KO. In my opinion, Donaire is smart, athletic, patient, fast and hard hitting. He's the real deal. The fact that he was able to stand up to the adversity that was Darchinyan who was seen as an unstoppable force at the time, makes me believe that he's the top dawg, despite his inactivity. Expect a fight between Donaire and Darchinyan to be a much more patient fight with Darchinyan not being so aggressive or if he is, to be more tight with his defense, aka returning his jab to his face after he throws it regardless of where he throws it from. And it's likely that Donaire will be patient and fight for the most part of his back foot, looking for Darchinyan to get sloppy again and drop his jab, so Donaire can time him and drop a hook on his ass. Hit that video up. It's classic TEXAS style...
I gotta get that beat out there. I'm not in anyway affiliated with BUN B except that I'm an H TOWN native, but that beat is fire. I just wanted to burn ya up.
