Toney got a point deducted for hitting Williams after the bell. That's the only time I can think of.

He's a clean fighter in the ring (his urine tests are a different story).

Mijares has been exposed in worse fashion than Lacy. He is done.

Also much unlike Jeff, Mijares is a disgrace to boxin as well.

I'm a fan of Mijares but have to admit if Kawashima did it to Mijares it would be on the headline of all Mexican newspapers.

Disgraceful move by Mijares. The only thing I can say in his defense, as someone else mentioned, was maybe he thought he was going to get a raw deal in Japan because of one miscall already in the fight, so he decided since they don't have integrity he needed to lose his as well, to win.

But it was totally disgraceful. And unless there is some legit explanation it has significantly lowered my opinion of him and makes me glad he was knocked out.

Oh so he made one disgraceful move and now he's a total disgrace? That's a pretty narrow-minded view of a person, buddy.

i agree with sting. One cheap shot does not make Mijares a disgrace or a scum bag.

U should replace Obama in that pic with one of yourself m8. Kawashima clearly abandoned his defensive position and did actually touch gloves with christian. Both gloves I might add. Watch the fight carefully before posting your comments next time.

Snake act if iv ever seen one.

Pro Boxing is a gentlemen professional sport. If you can't honor a simple touching glove with your opponent than you shouldn't do it. If you are that low that you have to fake a touch glove with your opponent and cheap shot them than you are a sumbag, especally when you're the one initiating it. Mijares is a great fighter and I respect him for that but for what he did to Kawashima I'm really glad he got his as kicked :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

You need to read my post again.

I never said that what he did was not disgraceful. It was. But would you judge his whole character on that one single incident? Would you call him a scumbag or a disgraceful person as a WHOLE just because of that?

That's what I was trying to say to JoeAverage. You don't judge a person on one single thing he did. C'mon now.
