This is stupid in a funny way! Europeans best case scenario is actually the coming of a decent american SMW, until then we have to keep up with sad american statements about how narrow and shitty SMW is, solely because there are no americans! Sadly no recent evidence to suggest that you may be right.
We still haven't found the hypothetical European Calzaghe and Kessler fan who the OP thinks he is actually arguing with then?
hudson said many years ago when hatton was facing the likes of rowland and pep; hatton would stuggle against most of the top 20 light welters, i remember there being a thread with the top 20 listed and hatton`s chances against them. picked lacy to KTFO calzaghe hyped up yusef mack as one of these prospects before berrio ****ed him up alan green another one before he developed a foot fetish. from memory his other picks were direll-very good fighter , still possible taylor-i do not see him being long lived at 168 ward-talented fighter improved since the olympics
I want the best Europeans to face the best Americans. At 168 lbs: Kessler-Taylor. I just looked at HBO's "featured fighters". In this list you can find C-level fighters like Andy Kolle but not Mikkel Kessler. Thus I'm not particularly optimistic that Kessler-Taylor will happen.
You've got it reversed. You and Toopretty are the fools tooting Dirrell's horn and talking about how trash guys like Kessler are, and how ANDRE DIRRELL is ready to fight and beat the best in the division. Idiots like you are going to get him thrown into big fights too fast and stopped by a top level fighter.
What Calzaghe/Kessler fans are up in arms about Dirrell!!??? They will both be gone before he's ready for them. Get a grip. Why would a bunch of talented fighters coming into a division that Europeans like, but get stick for coz theres no decent Americans, cause Euro's problems? It will one of the best divisions in a few years, The Euro's arent going to stop producing SMW's, and now with a talented bunch of Americans its going to be mental. The real problem would be if the Americans decide to stay in america and fight each other, And the Euro's stay in Europe and fight each other. Which will probably happen, Why would a Dirrell risk fighting a Euro, when if he lost he would be cast aside, when he could fight a Jacobs, and even if he lost still not effect his marketability in the states, and fight the other 4 you say are coming through. You can Bet catchweights against Dawson/Cloud and Pavlik will come into it aswell before any big Euro-American fight. Risk vs Reward isnt going to go away. A loss to an American isnt going to have as much impact as a loss to a Euro.
:rofl You keep saying that about Hatton...You have me confused with someone eles...I actaully thought and still think that hatton is a better fighter then Calzaghe who I now think is the top fighter in the world p4p...yes I picked Lacy to win by knockout but I also said that the fight would go just the way that it did until Joe was knocked out, the only part I was wrong on was the knockout part...Mack???BAAHHH I said the guy was a bum from the start...It was the european fans that hyped the guy when he was about to fight one of the European heros I cant even remember which one it was.... that list of guys that I said would be strong supermiddle didnt include Green...Green is a talented fighter but he is green, and now dont seem to be doing much of anything...My list included both Dirrell brothers, Ward, Stevens, Pavlik, Taylor, Dawson and Cloud whos people said that he wanted to win a title at 168 first...It seems as if Cloud and Dawson are happy at 175 and may not ever fight at 168...I still stand behind those guys and as i stated when i made the thread some time back I know that some of those guys would lose along the way..That is what happens when you fight good fighters early sometimes you lose..Steven lost to Ward, Taylor lost to Pavlik, Pavlik lost to Hopkins...Thing is those fighters are just now reaching thier primes and will be fine, and will take over 168...I would bet my house on it...by the end of 2010 one of those fighter will be the king of 168 and will be a top 3 to 5 p4p guy:hi:
So let me get this right. You start a thread about Super Middleweight and say that Europeans are scared because the US has 5 or 6 guys "coming through" and when called to name these 5 or 6 rising Super Middle stars you dissapear for the entire day to come up with your list? On returning your list includes Chad Dawson who is fighting at Light-Heavy and has already had 27 fights. So that is one of the new Super Middle prospects for us to keep an eye out for is it? Then you include Kelly Pavlik who is 35 fights deep into his career and who by the way would be destroyed by Kessler (seeing as you name Kessler in the thread title). Pavlik is not a prospect or a rising star he should be fighting the best at Super Middle NOW if he intends to operate there. Taylor is your other name. A 28 fight deep, 30 year old who you are putting under the moniker of someone coming up.:rofl Then you name check Cloud who is also fighting at Light Heavy. And yet somehow you leave off Danny Jacobs who is probably your best Super Middle prospect. Great thread mate.
Its called having a life. I dont just sit around the computer all day..Your a moron, and you dont have a clue as to what is going on...I made the thread like two years ago before Taylor and Pavlik won titles, and before Jacobs even turned pro. You are dismissed:hi: PS if you were a person that actaully read some of this stuff you would 1)learn a few things 2)have read that Sean referred to my list in his post, which meant to normal thinking people that I had made a list and it would have had been somewhere that he could see it...So yes your right I took all day to come up with the list, and before I posted it i sent it to Sean so that he could make a post about it before I "reposted" my listatsch OHH and that chick is your av is nice
