Does the 2008 version of Bernard Hopkins hit harder than Roy Jones, or is it the other way around?

    Roy Jones.

The power is perhaps the last thing to go.

Jones had one-punch KO power in both hands.

No reason to assume he's lost that yet.

For that reason alone, Jones is more dangerous to Calzaghe than Hopkins was.

RJJ the last thing to go is power, Bhops NEVER had 1 punch power anyway.

Roy. He just doesnt throw it a lot. The killer instinct to unleash those punches are not just there anymore.

The snap doesn't seem to be there anymore, at least not as often.

There were too much shots in the Trinidad fight where I noticed he just lacked that snap at the end of his punches (the straight right hand).

    True.

Hopkins is more sneaky, but Roy has more power and punches more with the whole body.

RJJ's power at Light heavy is kind of overrated IMO.

Hopkins IMO is more heavy handed..or at least his power is sneaky enough to make it seem that way.

That would definitely decide the matter.

Watch his one-shot KO of Griffin (Left) and watch his one-shot KO of Kelly (Right).

    They're on Youtube somewhere.

Then tell me who had better one-shot KO power at light heavy.

I can't say I agree with the results, but hopefully for the sake of Roy Jones there's some accuracy to this.

Hopkins. Roy couldnt even finish off a shot, chinny, Tito who was coming off a 2 year layoff and came up 10 lbs. from his career high weight. Roy also went 12 with a blown up SMW who got stopped in 6 by Dirrell(Dirrell has slightly above average power). Look at the guys Hopkins has been fighting. Most of them have proven chins and/or defense. Taylor was the only one with a shaky beard is Taylor.
