not a bad card and on Fox too.

Geale will win easy but if he fought Pittman it would be better instead of Pittman boxing Zulfikar Joy Ali.

maybe in the near future it might happen?

Actually now I have had a look BTT..its over 10..so it must be a non-title bout, which is slightly acceptable.

    Nice try

And I dont even Marcus thinks he is the "next big thing" but his record speaks for itself..its one of the better ones around in Oz.

No Geale hasn't fought since July. An August fight would be a warm up.

Not after fighting a 12 round title fight you goose.

Geale had at least one fight cancelled at the last minute recently, so I thought they were aiming for another title defense before the year was out.
Maybe Phil can shed some light on this.

I should have said keep busy, whatarock's right this can't be a title fight so hopefully Geale's got something in the work's soon after.

Either way Im sure he's only taking this fight as theres nothing else on offer.

This was was supposed to be a title fight as his keep busy fight was supposed to be last month.
Last months fight didn't happen as a few fighters pulled out, so they canned it altogether.
I guess this is now his keep busy fight for something bigger next year.

BoxingTrashTalk - Why is it you complain that 'we Australians' don't support out local boxers, yet here you are criticising Geale?

Boxing Trash Talk - best you get your facts right before stating things. This is not a defence of Geale's title nor would it be sanctioned as one. He was scheduled to make a defence on the upcoming defence but then I guess after the last fight fell apart, they wanted some rounds under his belt before he defends again
