Not saying he is scared of him, his team want no part of Williams at the moment for obvious reasons. It took Margarito HELL to reach to the spot he is right now, a shitload of hype..etc which all costs money, now that he made it they're not going to feed him easily to Williams and Goossen to feast on, they'll make some money for him and out of him before he is forced to fight Williams again and that's exactly what they're doing as they use the "wait" excuse.

That's his first attempt at "P4P" status and he lost miserably and turned down a rematch when he's supposed to run after it but is willing to move up for DLH or stay at Welterweight to fight Shane Mosley and Miguel Cotto instead of a man that beat him.

Man, Margo is damn near Arum's last potential cash cow...and he's only marketable in the ring with Cotto...to lose to Williams again would be devastating...**** Kelly Pavlik is fighting at Youngstown University based on that ass whuppin BHop gave him...if Margo gets beat, who does he have after Manny?

 

Pacquiao is also in a dangerous fight soon. I do understand the real stuff with Margarito, what's laughable is his fans buying the "wait" excuse and ignoring reality when it's damn obvious.

 

They are DELUSIONAL...but with Manny, if he loses, he was in over his head anyway....he's not the favorite, so he can go back down in weight and still have big fights. Margo lose, and he's finito!

If one of you would just go ahead and admit that Arum does not want to take a REAL chance at him losing to a guy who has what it takes to beat him again and again, then most of us will be satisfied with the honesty. But until then, you are just making lame-ass excuses!

 

I am a huge williams fan and i would LOVE to see this fight. I dont think Margo can take him on points. neither guy is getting knocked out period. I think margos team knows this and underatands it.

They dont want this rematch and are content leaving at where it stands.

 

Anyone with half a brain knows what you are saying is true. But every time someone brings this up, they start trying to talk about "Well, what about PBF?" This thread is a prime example of that. And it is also a prime example of all the excuses that Margo fans come up with.

first fight had too much hype and was sort of a let down because it wasnt entertaining as we thought it was going to be, would rather see cotto/margo 2 or margo/clottey 2 instead. and besides williams isnt a welterweight anymore
