Will Wlad stop Rahman as fast as Toney did?

Toney stopped Rahman is three rounds. Hurt him and him quit. Now Rahman is fighting Wladimir Klitschko. I assume that Klitshko took the fight cos he wants to make a statement by stopping Rahman sooner than Toney did?

Will he be able to do that? Will Rahman last 3 rounds with Wlad?

 

Um, no. Toney did a pretty good job of making Rahman quit.

And if he's quitting against Toney, Wlad should pretty much blow out Rahman in the first round. Although, he'll probably start tentatively like usual. But, he really shouldn't be seeing the 6th round at all.

Aside from the Austin fight, Wlad hasn't had a lot of early stoppages....Hard to see Rock lasting 12 seeing as what Maskaev did to him...

The Toney fight was a NC, sorry, Toney's biggest win at heavyweight remains Dominick Guinn.

 

Toney didn't stop or beat Rahman. He landed an accidental headbutt causing Rahman great disstress but hardly hurt him even then. Toney hasn't scored a knockout since he fought a 42 year old Holyfield.
