This guy fights only in spurts, has trouble with movers, is not an iron man, has hand problems and on top of it, does not hit hard and has stamina issue's.

Everyone scoffed at me when I said Judah and Cotto KO him in 5 or less, but let's take a look at how he cannot KO this guy tonight, a guy who had been stopped by Chop Chop at 140.

    Thankyou very much.:yep

I believe styles make fights and it would be a tough contest for Cotto for 6 rounds.

Cotto might even get dropped within the first 3 frames.

But gradually, Cotto would beat Clottey up and win a UD.

1 punch KO hitter Zab can't drop Cotto and now the light hitting Clottey can?

Cotto stops this guy in 5 or less.

I've never understood the attention Clottey has recieved. When he got broke down by Margarito that cemented how I already felt, that he isnt an ELITE level fighter. The guy is decent but does not have the intangibles to challenge top fighters.

Clottey KO/TKO Judah between 8-12, IMO.

Clottey couldn't KO Corrales, for goodness' sakes, so it's not like I'm overwhelmed with JC's power. It's that he's big, rugged, and even more so that Zab is mentally weak and a frontrunner. Once he gets tired and a little sloppy, Judah is susceptible to being KD/KO'd by seemingly anyone, as Cory Spinks demonstrated.

My opinion in these matters has less to do with Clottey and more to do with Zab's penchant for choking and quitting.

Thanks, you pick quite well yourself, Amsterdam:good There are time's when I let my heart/desire override my better judgement.

Clottey could use more heart and desire and if he stood in front of Cotto with that high guard?? There's liitle doubt in my mind, that Cotto ends it on a body shot. At 47 Cotto's chin and strength seem much better, indicating that he was too drained at 40.

Cotto would take Clottey's ribs out and suck all the meat off his bones. Clottey's fun to watch, but he doesn't have the power to keep Cotto off him. He had trouble with a very game Flores on the inside tonight, and Cotto is a much more vicious body attacker. Clotty deserves his top 10 ranking, no doubt. But I don't think he's going to be cracking the top 5.

I agree 100%. Most people's respect and high regard for Clottey comes from him giving a good effort against a B- fighter at best in Margarito and beating Corrales who jumped up two weight classes late in his career. After the Corrales fight, some people here started including Clottey as an elite at 147 and after a month or two it somehow started becoming cool to say that Clottey is a top welterweight. Floyd, Cotto, Mosley, Williams, Cintron, and Judah would all own him and make him look horrible in my opinion.

Not too impressed by Clottey although Flores looked much better than I thought he would. Clottey doesn't deserve to be put in the same sentence as Cotto put I would love to see him get in the ring with Judah. Zab earned some respect against Cotto and it would be a good comeback fight for him. Come to think of it put Paul Williams/Clottey together and Margarito/Judah... both of those would be good fights and then after Williams takes out Clottey he can fight the winner of a very close Judah/Margarito battle

Clottey starts well but he can't fight for the entire 3 minutes and gets tired in the later rounds.

Clottey is not a future Champ IMO.

    the VS Channel.

Clottey won a UD and didnt really look impressive. I suppose if you're a die-hard Clottey fan you'll see what you'd like to see, but this cat isnt beating the top WW's.

Though to his credit he said he wants the top guy's any and aLL.

What's he got to lose? He has injury related issue's, is already 30 and any top guy presents good paying oppurtunities.
