Why would you go out aggressive like that? When your a counterpuncher. Who is best off the backfoot. Lacking power and relying on speed, and decisions.

Sure it nearly paid off. But in the end it cost him dearly.

And this sets him back 24 months.

    Silly.

he will learn from this, he is 21, he doesn't need to fight like that, he needs to brake guys down with his speed and boxing ability, he gave a guy with a punch a chance and the other guy took it with both hands

Choc would have never let this happen tonight. Thats the difference between these up and comers. And fighters like Choc who doesn't loose domestically.

You can say Willie was 30 seconds away from a KO. But thats not the point. Whats better a 1st round TKO loss? Or a wide, 10 or 12 round points decision?

To be honest Mundine was a lot older by the time he was at this stage. And he had a better trainer as well that thought him to take his time.

Its not about age mate. I have seen inexperienced amateurs not making these mistakes.

    Not in the first round.

He shouldn't get a break. Im a big fan of the kid.

And he just threw away a perfect record.
