Your right. Golota went after him early on with a very nice looking jab/right hand. He just needed to loosen up a round or 2 & he would have been fine.

    Just bad luck, thats all.:-(

Golota and his trainers unfortunately STILL do not know how to prepare him, fire him up, and properly warm him up prior to a fight. I said in one of my posts before the fight that Golota needs to literally get KTFO in the locker room before fighting. Again he comes out ice cold. How the hell can a man his size get caught by the first punch 2 seconds into a fight???

austin knocked him down within a few second, how is this possible?????
but does somebody know what is wrong with the arm of golota?
i think golota will retire cause in an early interview he says if i loss this fight i will never fight again.

They say its an elbow, not his shoulder.

Well, thats Sam Colonna for you. Prob scared shitless to yell at Golota when he needs a good talking to. And Ziggys got his thumb stuckin his ass, too. Worthless.

Honestly would you expect any boxer out there to continue with a ****ing dislocated elbow? You got a brain?

Of Course I would supporte him if he ever decide to go on with boxing, but I truly hope he will enjoy his new life as a former champ, you know, I love him as a brother, and I wouldn't want him badly hurt unnecessary.
Love him as a brother, guys... I wish him all the best for the future, and if the express will still go on I will be there, just to hear some news about him and to remember with you some of his old legendary adventures, just like he was a superhero (to me he absolutely is...).
Thanks a lot Rumsfeld, Jetsky, Hoax, Brisback and all the other guys of the Golota Express, I have, and still I will, enjoy so much beeing here!

Well Jetski we all knew it had to come to an end eventually. But damn, twelve years! I feel like I was married to this Golota thread and now it's time to finally get a divorce. I really had no idea it would last so long!

I really feel bad for Golota. He worked so hard to show everyone he is not a quitter anymore after the Grant and tyson fights and he had to end it all on his stool (not that he could have helped it, but still). Very sad, I could tell how disappointed he was by the look on his face.

Here's a better version of the fight if you havn't seen it yet (not that it's really worth seeing).

****heads like you need to get hit in your face with a baseball bat. Then when you do not pick your pathetic ass off the floor, your attacker calls you a ***** for not getting up.

If Golota wanted one last farewell fight against some total bum, I will be there to support him. But I dont think he will and he probably shouldnt at this point. He's too old and has been hit with a lot of big punches over all these years. His once great left jab was permanently disabled nearly ten years ago and now he has a dislocated elbow. It's time to retire and concentrate on his health, family oh and of course lots of skiing.

Probably right off a 600 ft. cliff with his luck. :patsch

Great post xywsergio. Most of us here feel the exact same way as you. I don't devote part of my life to just anything for 12 damn years. The Golota experience (the fights, the fans here) will always be a part of me.

Joecool, could you tell us more about Golota's injury? Was he at all injured before the fight? Will he DEFINITELY be retiring or would he consider a final farewell fight for all his fans? Probably too soon to tell but as soon as you learn more, please keep us informed as always.

    GO GOLOTA
