    I had a feeling it was going to be a war. Fight of the year. Hopefully we get half the action on tomorrows fights that we saw tonight.

    no instead i had to watch bell-haskins.they both went down 12 times.
    not one from a knockdown....complete and utterwrestling match haskins got a unfair advantage when his corner man slammed the chair to the back of bells head. then it was easy pickins

    They basically kicked the **** out of each other for 8 rounds. Both men were visibly hurt numerous times. The first round was nonstop action (as were most of the rounds). I was sure the fight wouldn't last long considering the pace they were fighting and how both were capable of hurting each other. Though I was obviously wrong. Both men showed incredible heart, and whenever they were hurt, it seemed to light a fire under them to come back that much harder. In round 9, Mtagwa appeared to be gassed and went down hard. Villa came close to putting him away then, but Mtagwa managed to hang on for the remainder of the round and even scored with a few hard shots of his own while being hurt. In round 10, Mtagwa came out like a man possesed and put Villa down hard in the opening minute of the round. He followed it up with two more brutal knockdowns and the fight was called off. It's a fight that you should definitely download.

    Daaaaamn, that does sound wild. I'll definately try to track this down. Good lookin, Antwuan, thanks for keeping us posted on the best boxing **** as usual, my man. Some people may not be aware of it - but you're one of the very best posters on any boxing forum. Alot of us are better fans, and better informed fans, because of your support. Cheers, brotha.

    Agreed if these 2 guys were more higher profile everyone would be creaming themselves.
    I thought the fight was going to be stopped in Mtagwa's corner at the end of the 9th round he ha been dropped and rocked them.
    Then he comes out and lays it on villa and drops him twice and he wins the fight after being behind.

    Both guys just wung punches all night.

    I tell you what happened in this fight. Two guys with a lot of balls but no brains bang their heads during 10 rounds. YES IT WAS FUN TO WATCH!!! But at the end there was not boxing at all. Just to men swinging wildly. No defense at all. Not technique. IS THAT GOOD FOR BOXING??? I have seen better fighters in the street. None of this guys will last 5 rounds against a Class B fighter.
    I have a 122lbs fighter in my avatar. Tonight fight was at 130. The fighter in my avatar could KO both of these guy out on the same night and not even fight 4 rounds!!!! Those guys dont have a clue what boxing is.

    Mtagwa has lasted more than 5 rounds with plenty of B-level fighters. He's a classic high round gatekeeper. He just never beats them.

    Let me give you a better idea. Punches tonight looked like they were trying to throw a baseball as hard as they could. But still, the other guy's head was there just waiting to get hit. And I am talking about punches from the very first round
