Oscar isn't brown but Hopkins probably relates to him more than he does Calzaghe because Oscar is Mexican-American and growing up the hoods in america Hopkins probably grew up around them

Why do you think Fernando Vargas wore a lot of brown his last few times out. Brown is recognized in Califas as the official "color" of Mex Americans, Chicanos, ect. It is you who is an UNINFORMED moron.

And Hopkins is a racist who got his ass SCHOOLED by a WHITE Welshman and couldnt handle it.

    Class dismissed!:good

Anyway, who give a **** about his personality? Sugar Ray Robinson was a woman-beater, Ali said some disgusting and reprehensible things in his time (mostly of a racist nature), and Joe Calzaghe is fighting a guy tonight that he said was shot 4 years ago. Let's judge fighters as fighters and leave personality out of it.

Oscar is not a 'brown' man you degenerate. Hopkins is a greater fighter than Calzaghe, and history will note this. And you know it. Suck it up boyo!

When a fighter like Hopkins, opens his big mouth, he is going to get judged and people like me, will ALWAYS be around to remind all of the things he said, that he cannot take back.

Ok, so what is he, a Black man, or a white man? Neither? A Yellow man? Nope? Ask anyone in East LA who is of Mexican descent, what they think of the color "Brown"....or better yet, Google "Brown Pride" if you are too ignorant to believe me.

    Class Dismissed again. :good

You will NEVER find a major official all-time pound-for-pound list that has Joe "Resume" Calzaghe ranked higher than the legend that is Bernard Hopkins - NEVER! And nothing you can say will ever change that. :hi:

He is being overrated. Yes he's a great fighter but take into account all his big wins - Tarver aside - came vs men moving up in weight. Winky and Pavlik were very pudgy. These 2 fights mean little or nothing at light heavyweight, I'm afraid.

Let's praise Hopkins for developing his skills and for being determined in his own stubborn way. But look at his prime, fouling his way through fights with Allen and Echols. And consider, he is being given too many big fights - the Taylor fights and the Wright & Calzaghe fights should have had him permanently off HBO.

Why? What's going to happen then? You think beating up a guy who everyone with a brain (including Calzaghe himself according to his autobiography and numerous interviews over the past few years) knew was shot 4 years ago will make any difference? :patsch

Hopkins will go down in history as the greater fighter. Why? Because he was. Accept that. You'll be happier once you have. :hi:

Hopkins lost twice to Jermain, and NOBODY can beat Joe. Thanks for playing. :hi:

Hopkins will go down in history as the greater fighter. So when you're pushing up the daisies and no longer have the ability to post on this site, the history books will still be saying B-Hop was the greater fighter, just as they are now. I understand how that must get to you, I can see why you're getting so ratty! But seriously, open your heart and accept that fact. You will feel better, trust me. :hi:

  14. He beat Calzaghe by a point
