Jones used to do the same stunts Joe did to him tonight all the time in his prime. Hell, he still does it.

I agree. If he fought prime Roy that would have been AWESOME but doing this to this version of Roy is just shameful. Go fight Chad Dawson and do that and I will clap my hands and laugh but what he did with Roy I did this :-(

 How dare him! I wonder where white fighters learned things like that?

  9. Roy used to do the same thing to many of his opponents in the past. He finally had a piece of humble pie.

For f*'s sake he Roy Jonesd Roy Jones. I mean Roy did the showboating to seriously undeserving competition as well and vs. Joe too... And I truly belive that Calzaghe simply cut his high pace in the last 4 rounds not to leave his new buddy seriously hurt and decked!

Also he said afterwards it was an honour to fight Jones, credited him with a great punch and never said a bad word of him.

What more respect do you want?

I thought that it was great. Against Hopkins, Calzaghe disrespected B-Hop in the same manner that B-Hop normally disrespects his opponents. Against Jones, Calzaghe disrespected Roy, in the same manner that Roy normally disrespects his opponents. He beat them both... and gave them both a taste of their own medicine. I thought it was great.

You know if Jones was winning the fight, he would have his hands down, throwing bolo punches and showboating! Like Roy Jones has done his entire career- disrespecting overmatched opponents, so STFU! It was Kharma.

RJJ was showboating rounds 1 and 2.... after 3, Calzaghe got his respect and took over..... RJJ gets respect for the heart he showed in adversity......

    but he deserves being humilated

    1. because he did it to loads of bums in the past

    2. His nuthugger fans needed him to be humiliated in America

    3. He was very cruel himself with cockfighting etc... just like his mate who was beaten and damaged by Nigel Benn

The more threads you ****ing idiots create, the wider the smile on my face gets. So keep them coming you bitter pricks.

I admit, Calzaghe went a bit overboard with the showboating, but so ****ing what! Jones has done the same as have other fighters in the past.

Is this the best you can come up with? Dry your eyes. :|

Roy was paid off with that 50/50 split to take this L... I just can't understand how he let this happen... Anyone who has actually watched RJJ fight knows that he didn't try in this fight.

BTW, Respect to Joe for sticking his neck out like he did... Prime RJJ would have decapitated this guy.. However, this empty shell of RJJ could only cover up... Roy, please retire. You have nothing to prove, and you have nothing left... If you couldn't KO Joe with his neck out like that, you don't need to be in the ring.
