"You are the baddest until the baddest come to town"..and that was certainly true last night for RJJ...he was schooled at his own game, and I am sure Calzaghe would have done the same both at their prime...now that said....Inthe last 10 years BHop has position himself , IMO, to be worht of a higher spot on an TG list of boxing history, he has shown that he got better as he ageds as RJJ got sluggish, slower and his boxing skills corroded....
BHop fared far better against Calazaghe than RJJ, and he has been fighting younger fighter, and still making it close....24 rounds against Jermain and it was a toss-up, Pavlik he schooled him at Pavlik prime, Tito still close to his prime he dismantle him in impressive fashion, far more than RJJ did to an overweight, rusty Tito...BHop never been KO...RJJ got two in a row in devastating fashion and almost third time in round 10 against Tarer III....

BHop should be mentioned as a better boxer and legacy when is all said and done after both retired....

BHop was far from his prime, only 17 fighst at that point....he was far from picking...BHop legacy far more impressive, better resume, and longevity on his favor..RJJ KO twice in a ROW...talent corroded ....after that....BHop keep impressing

    Its a tough one

    RJJ Achieved much more

8 time world champion in 4 different weight classes from MW to HW
    Olympic Silver medalist
    In the rings P4P top 10 from 1993 - 2003
    Highly Entertaining to watch

Hopkins being longest reigning MW champ, unifying the MW belts, aswell as winning at LHW is great but cannot compare to Roy's achievements.

    As for oppostion

    Hopkins Opposition has been greater,
    Trinidad, Hoya, Tarver, Wright, Pavlik

    is greater than RJJ's
    Hop, Toney, McCullum, Ruiz.

I will go for Bernard Hopkins

    Also
Bernard was always an underdog and proved critics wrong, RJJ was expected to do good since his olympic silver. Hop proved more
